Profile
Extensive functional expertise with a burning entrepreneurial mindset - Thrives in fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt and pivot quickly
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience is required.
Prior experience in inventory control, shipment planning, scheduling, parts purchasing, and/or supply chain preferred
Prior experience in the global supply chain/ import/ export preferred.
Proficient in using Microsoft PC software including extensive use of Excel spreadsheets, Word, Access.
Experience with SAP, Netsuite or similar business systems and/or sales order management software
Master’s Degree preferred
LOCATION: - Dallas, TX, Miami, FL or Nashville, TN with other flexible options considered for the right individual
TRAVEL FREQUENCY: - Approx. 10% of the time –
We offer
• Accurately align customer sales orders/ forecasts with available inventory as well as future supply
• Coordinate the release of delivery orders with the Logistics and Warehouse Departments
• Maintain master materials data, pricing, HTS codes and other pertinent information
• Analyze inventory levels based upon parts usage, lead-time to delivery and current balance on-hand and future demands. Identify and report on gaps to achieving scheduled business plan and interact with colleagues to determine best course of action
• Interfaces with suppliers and customers on a daily basis to ensure sales orders are fulfilled in an accurate and timely manner
• Ensures that all interested parties are kept abreast of services information, parts availability, order status, shipments, tracking shipment deliveries, stock levels, etc.
• Develop and create reports on key performance metrics on a daily/weekly/monthly basis (20%)
• Work with external parties and constituents to arrange transportation modes with the most effective balance between speed and cost
